Chapter 20
Chapter 20
On the wedding day, the scene was grand with people coming and going.
Vivian kept boasting to people that she was about to have a grandson.
Those mahjong friends smiled stiffly, because their sons didn't even have girlfriends.
Vivian finally had her moment of glory, and her attitude towards me improved quite a bit as a result.
The music started.
Wearing a wedding dress, I walked towards Lucas, led by William.
At the end of the long red carpet stood the moonlight of my youth.
He wore a black suit, smiling at me tenderly.
The host finished reading the vows.
"I do."
"I do."
Exchanging rings, Lucas's hands were shaking.
I looked at him seriously and whispered in his ear:
"Honey, actually, I've liked you for a very long time."
Lucas's eyes reddened, and he kissed me passionately.
Sunlight fell on the newlyweds, giving them a warm blessing.
