The Dilemma of Parker

Chapter29

"Parker" Jude began. "Don't, don't say anything. I'm done with everyone. It's never been about me at all. It's always about what everyone else wants. You wanted revenge Richard and you got it but at what cost? You wanted me to be not let him win Jaylan but he did. I lost everything again. I'm done with everyone" Parker stated before ripping herself out of Jude's arms and walking towards the main road. She needed to get away from everyone. She needed space and safety and right here and now, she felt neither of those things. She felt let down again and so alone.

"Parker don't do this please" William called to her. He wanted to grab his sister and hold her to make her feel safe, but he didn't think that would be the right thing to do at this point. "You did this and so did they. I am important. Why can't any of you see that? Why is it so easy to forget about me?" Parker yelled back.

"I'll take you to the airport" Jude called out. "I see you Parker, I tried to get to you and I couldn't. I should of fought harder against everyone. I'm so sorry Parker" Jude called back. "It's doesn't matter anyway" Parker mumbled. She was done fighting with these people. They clearly didn't want to fight for her so why should it matter.

"Parker, I'm never letting you go again. I'll fight for you. I'll protect you. Fuck, I'll even stay in the background if you want. I fucked up as your brother once. I see you Parker. I see how important you are. I love you Parker and I'm sorry I never showed you that. You are so important to me, I don't think I would be able to cope if I lost you again. I am a shit brother I know, but let me show you I have changed" Jude called out.

Parker hunched her shoulders but kept walking, she just couldn't bare to be so unimportant to people that they would use her to hurt someone else. Hadn't she suffered enough in this stupid place? How much more could she be shown that she was forgettable even by people she choose to be in her life? She allowed herself to be vulnerable to Jaylan, William and Richard and each of them let her down today which sent her right back to how she grew up. Only this time, her ninny wasn't around to pick up the pieces.

Cheryl had left her husband at the wake to go and search for Parker. She had wanted to go after her right away but her husband had insisted she stayed for the service at least. Cheryl had an idea of where Parker would be. She knew of the safe space under the house and that was where she was headed.

Cheryl pulled into the drive way seeing Parker walking away towards the main road. Cheryl jumped out of the car running towards Parker and pulling her into a hug. "I'm right here baby. I got you" Cheryl said quietly which were the exact same words her ninny would say to her. Parker broke down in Cheryl's arms and she was lead to the car by Cheryl. "I swear Parker, I will always protect you" Jude stated getting closer to his sister. "Leave it, all of you have done enough" Cheryl stated helping Parker into the car.

Cheryl got herself into the car and took off, Jude had tried to stop her but was pulled back by Jaylan. Richard was shocked that he had been accused of using Parker to get revenge. "Oh god, what have I done?" Richard asked. "I hurt me daughter to get back at Tyson for taking her from me. I am no better then him" Richard mumbled. William stood there not sure what he should do. He wanted to go after his sister and beg her for forgiveness. He had seen the damage yesterday and yet he still didn't stop it happening again today.

"I'm not letting her go, let me go to my sister" Jude screamed pushing against Jaylan. When the car was out of sight Jaylan let go of Jude. He had held him back because he owed that much to Parker. He knew he lost her the minute he had made her listen to her step father, but he wanted her to be happy and he didn't think having to listen to Jude beg her to stay would make Parker happy. Jude ran towards his place wanting to get a car so he could chase after his sister. He had no idea where he was going but he needed to be in his sisters life. William followed Jude, he too wanted to be in Parker's life.

It had been two days and no one had heard from Parker or Cheryl. William, Richard, Jude and Jaylan had been calling relentlessly and trying to track them down. Today they were suppose to be flying to Sydney and no one knew if Parker was going to be going back or what. Richard had tried to file a missing person report, but as Parker had left willingly there was not much he could do.

Leon and Tanner had tried to get in contact with Cheryl but couldn't. They had been bombarding Jude with calls and texts trying to get information about Parker. Leon had gone as far as hiring a PI to track her down. He needed to make things right with Parker. Leon and Tanner had both told the lawyer that they were fine with the will and to proceed with making it offical. None of the Jones men wanted to hurt Parker any more then they already had.
