The Dilemma of Parker

"Baby, I didn't know which test to get, I got three" Simon rushed out handing the bag to Parker after racing into the Gadigal centre. "No fucken way? You are pregnant?" Jaylan asked. Parker ignore Jaylan completely. "Babe you are an obgyn, how can you not know which test?" Parker asked. Simon looked at her like she was crazy. "That's because they aren't my partner or my baby. It's different" Simon deadpanned.

"What the hell?" William asked as he Richard and Jude stood looking between Parker and the guy who was talking about partners and his baby. "Oh this is going to be fun" Jaylan said smirking at Parker. They had more of a brother sister relationship now. "I think I'm going to be sick again" Parker said before racing to the toilet to vomit. Simon took off after her to hold her hair with a smile on his face. He hoped Parker was pregnant with his child. They had talked about it and decided if it happened it happened. They both knew what they wanted out of the relationship and Simon was already planning to propose anyway.

"I'm going to kill him" William yelled racing off after his sister. "Will leave your sister alone" Matt called back. "She is pregnant? My baby girl is pregnant?" Richard asked but was still in shock that it didn't sink in. Jude smiled, he was going to be an uncle. He loved his daughter even if she was conceived during a one night stand. "Does anyone have some green apple or plain crackers? she needs to settle her stomach" Jonie asked handing her son to Jaylan.

Parker emerged from bathroom with three positive pregnancy tests 10 minutes later. Simon was smiling and had his hand placed on Parker's stomach while William grumbled about murdering someone. Parker looked a little green but Matt had cut up some apple and got some plain crackers handing them to her so she could take her seat for her graduation. "Bloody hell Parker, I am going to miss the drama around here when you leave. I can't say it has been boring" Matt laughed before heading out to the graduation ceremony and pointing Parker to her seat. "Well that wasn't half as exciting as I hoped" Jaylan stated disappointed that no hands were flying. "I warned him if he touched Simon, I would tell the aunties he interfered with women's business" Parker replied causing Jaylan to go pale. No one messed with the aunties and women's business, everyone knew that it was sacred.

Parker took the apple and crackers and sat in her seat slowly munching on them to stop the nausea. She could feel eyes on her and turned to see Leon and Tanner looking right at her. Leon was smiling at Parker and Tanner was just looking. She had no idea they would be here at all. She didn't understand why they bothered at all. They had never made it to anything in her life and yet here they were.

After the graduation, Simon kept a protective arm around Parker and was rubbing her non existent belly. Parker knew it was going to be a long 9 months. "So Parker is a uni graduate. This time you have everyone here. How does it feel?" Jude asked. Parker shrugged her shoulders, she didn't know why the other two were here at all. In fact she hadn't even bothered telling them about the graduation, mainly so she wasn't disappointed when no one turned up. Leon and Tanner headed over to the others to show Parker support. They wanted her to know she was important even if they hadn't been there for her when she was younger. "Well, they wanted to show you, that you mattered to them" Jude stated. Richard was still in shock that he was going to be a grandfather and hadn't said a word.

"Wait, my daughter is having a baby?" Richard finally asked just as Leon and Tanner got to the group. "Yes dad, we established that about 2 hours ago. Getting slow in your old age?" Parker replied. "What? You are pregnant?" Tanner asked. "What's it to you? Did I mess up your plans?" Parker spat. "Congratulations Parks, on your graduation and the baby. I am proud of you" Leon stated giving Tanner a look which made him shut his mouth. "I am happy you made a life for yourself Parker" Leon stated.

Parker was happy, she had found herself in Sydney and then on country in Uluru. She had made a life for herself and found a real family. She was no longer Parker Jones the forgotten sibling. She created her own family with Will, Jude, her father and Jaylan the extra annoying brother. Richard had proved he was trustworthy after the funeral and William had always been there for her even when she didn't know he was her actual brother. Jaylan was another annoying brother that just wouldn't go away. Parker was finally happy and knew who she was. She was a proud Aboriginal woman who used her story to inspire other people to be the best versions of themselves no matter what life threw at you.
