Shawn's eyes were closed as he felt Gloria's lips on his. He could feel it happened before as it didn't seem it was his first time kissing her.

Suddenly Gloria pushed him slightly as she tried to free herself.

She wrapped her arms around her stomach with a glowing smile.

Shawn was confused for a second but the next moment he also smiled knowing that Gloria must have felt some movement.

"Can... can I ?" He asked her who smiled and nodded.

Shawn put his hand on her bump and suddenly his eyes became wet. His emotions changed in a split second and he was also confused over what happened to him.

Gloria was smiling seeing him who leaned and placed a kiss on her bump.

"Daddy promise that he will always take care of you and mummy."

"Of course, daddy has to take care of us or else this time we won't forgive him." Gloria playfully warned him as she was feeling relaxed after months of stress and tension.

Shawn chuckled feeling the bossy attitude of his wife.

Now he understood that why he changed because he always wanted this but he was scared to be left alone like his father.

Even when his mother returned and wanted to take him with her, he stayed back with his father.

Gloria creased his hair who was in deep thoughts. He lifted his head and shook all the negative thoughts from his mind.

Now he didn't need to be worried about anything.

"Baby, just don't move for sometime because mummy gets really excited but Daddy also wants to love mummy.

Let daddy love mummy because it's daddy's first time and daddy is in love with Mummy so much."

He whispered softly but Gloria smacked his head.

Shawn massaged his head and looked at her with innocent eyes.

"I don't remember anything and it's really important for me."

He straightened up an cupped her face.

" I really love you a lot. Please don't leave me if I did something like that again. Now I don't trust myself."

He suddenly felt scared of the future.

Gloria chuckled.

" It was you who forgot about me but I remembered you."

" But you left me."

" Because you wanted it. I only gave you sometime and... you came back. Didn't you?"

Shawn took her hands in his who was smiling brightly. It was true that he came back because he had to.

He kissed the back side of her hand and smirked.

" So, should daddy need to prove that he loves mummy."

Shawn entered the office of his father while looking tired and sleepy.

Gloria ordered him to continue his work in the office and today was his first day. His brain was exploding with all the information and looked miserable.

" Dad, I am tired and the work is going to take my life."

He whined as he sat in front of his father.

Mr Mendes shook his head and removed his glasses.

"This is everything which is pending from past four months. Now go and finish it or else I will call Gloria that you had to stay in the company tonight."

Shawn quickly got up.

"No, no. Don't call her. I will try to finish everything today."

After Shawn left, Mr Mendes smiled over the childish behavior of his son.
