My pregnant wife 16

5 months later.

Shawn was deeply engrossed in his files when Gloria entered the room with a cup of coffee.

Shawn looked up and quickly walked towards her and took the cup from her.

Gloria was due anytime but still she was still trying to do small things for him.

"I told you to not make coffee for me. I can do it myself." He scolded her as he supported her and made her sit on the bed.

Gloria chuckled softly who had a frown on his forehead.

"I am alright. Moreover I can not rest all day."

She held his arm and made him sit on the bed. She knew how much he loved coffee especially when she makes it. She wanted to do such small things for him who filled her life with happiness.

Shawn sighed and took her in his embrace. He kissed her forehead and then picked the coffee.

"I should take a little break." He told her more like announced it to her so she would not force him to work.

He was lazy and he knew it but the thing was Gloria also knew it. She was with him for nearly three years and she knew him better than him.

Shawn finished his coffee and placed the cup on the side table.

He already lost motivation to work and just wanted to hold her for whole night.

Gloria sensed his intentions and glared at him who ignored the warning and buried his face in the crook of her neck.

" I am so excited to meet our baby. What you think it will be? A boy or a girl?" He smiled at her who looked peaceful.

" I don't care." She didn't ask the doctor for the gender because she wanted to keep it a surprise.

"What do you want?"

"I don't know. I want a son but I also want a daughter. Argh... I am so confused."

Gloria smiled but then her face expressions changed.

"Did it move again?"

Shawn put his hand on her bump but Gloria shook her head.

" I think we need to go to hospital."

"What? Hospital? Now?"

Shawn quickly got up and looked in panic.

"It's time.... oh no... oh no... what should I do?"

He then looked at Gloria.

"Do not panic... okay.... do not... panic." He tried to calm her down who was already calm and looking at her panicking husband.

" Shawn, take a deep breath." Gloria calmly told him who stopped and stared at her. He took a deep breath but it didn't work as he could not make himself relax.

" Look at me. Relax. It's not that you are going to give birth."

Shawn didn't like her taunt because he was not panicking.

A wave of pain passed through her body and she bit her lip.

"NOW HURRY UP OR YOU WANT ME TO GIVE BIRTH HERE."

She shouted at him who quickly came back to him sense and helped her who was now shouting at him.

"Hurry up." Gloria shouted at Shawn who was trying his best to reach hospital in time while Mr Mendes was trying to calm her down.

"Take deep breath." He told her who was killing Shawn with her stares.

" I will kill him uncle." Gloria tried to not shout at him now.

"Okay, but later." Mr Mendes ensured her while Shawn looked at his father with disbelief.

As they reached hospital, Gloria was taken in the delivery room. When Shawn reached near her, he didn't know what to do. He was panicked and confused as Gloria was threatening him non stop.

"Hold my hand." Gloria told him who quickly took her hand and placed his hand over her cheek.

" It's going to be fine." He tried to encourage her.

" It should be or you are dead Shawn."
