Chapter 10
Chapter 10
I didn't make a fuss either and was about to get into the passenger seat.
At that moment, a voice filled with intense resentment suddenly came from behind.
"Rosalie, weren't you sick? Why are you here?"
I turned around and saw Tyler standing not far away, his expression surprised and somewhat hurt.
Rosalie's face looked like she had been caught red-handed, panicking for a moment.
But she quickly regained her previous calmness.
"Why are you here?" she asked.
Tyler's tone was aggrieved: "I heard you were sick this morning, so I was a bit worried. I made some porridge and came over, wanting to take care of you."
"But it seems like you don't need me now."
As he spoke, he hugged the thermos in his arms tightly.
He looked like he had suffered a huge blow.
Rosalie's expression was remorseful. She seemed to want to say something, but Tyler interrupted her: "Rosalie, I understand. You and Felix are a couple, it's natural for you to be good to him."
"You could have just told me directly. You didn't need to hide it from me like this."
"You two go ahead, I'll leave first."
With that, he deliberately glanced at the teddy bear thrown in the back seat, lowered his head, and turned to leave.
Seeing him being so understanding, Rosalie felt even more guilty. She hurriedly went forward to stop him.
"We broke up last night. He's moving out today, so I'm just giving him a ride."
After saying this, I clearly saw a flash of joy in Tyler's eyes.
He looked over at me, his eyes smug.
But the words he spoke were full of innocence.
"You broke up? Why? Is Felix still angry with me?"
Rosalie comforted him like she was soothing a child. "It has nothing to do with you. We broke up amicably."
Tyler looked at me: "Then let me drive Felix. Rosalie, you don't look well. You should go back and rest."
Rosalie's face showed hesitation as she glanced at me.
I knew what she was thinking. I took out my suitcase.
"No need, you two go ahead. I don't need a ride."
With that, I turned and left with my luggage.
Rosalie didn't say anything.
I remained calm inside.
Perhaps because I had long been clear that between me and Tyler, she would definitely choose Tyler.
The car wasn't far away. I put the luggage in the trunk and sat in the driver's seat.
This car was the one my friend had given me yesterday. After drinking last night, I had hired a driver to bring it back, so I wasn't very familiar with some of its functions yet.
After figuring it out, I drove away.
But as my gaze passed over the rearview mirror, I noticed something flash in Tyler's eyes as he looked at me.
When I looked back, everything seemed normal again.
I didn't pay attention to it. After settling into my new place, I focused on my career.
