Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland
Hyde Park Wonderland was filled with colorful lights that were very beautiful just like in a fairy tale. One of the most notable was the giant Ferris wheel that glowed brightly at a height.
There was also a very large skate arena, a karaoke place in an airplane-shaped cabin, ice sculptures of various shapes, spectacular performances of dancers in a giant dome, as well as rows of people selling food and drinks.
Beatrice pulled Luke's hand towards the Ferris wheel.
"I want to ride this!" he said with a sweet smile. Luke didn't answer, he walked to the counter and bought tickets for two. A few minutes later they were inside the giant Ferris wheel.
Beatrice stared at the scene below her while continuously squealing in admiration. While Luke was busy with his own thoughts. Her mind was wondering, what was Matthew doing in London? Was he sent by his father to do something?
"Luke!!! Hey!!" she waved her hands in front of his face, bringing him straight back to reality.
"Take my pic! Use your phone! Okay?" she said with her face still shining because she was too happy.
Snorting, he pointed the camera at Beatrice who was posing. He took photos from several angles and by then he just realized that Beatrice looked just as beautiful from any angle.
"Let me take a look!" Beatrice snatched Luke's phone and sat down next to him. "Hey! Smile!" she said, elbowing his arm, but he turned his face away from her.
“Oh come on! It’s just for social media content!” forced her trying to reach Nicholas’ arm which immediately turned around after he heard her reason.
“We look good together,” murmured Beatrice, staring at their photograph. Luke snorted, “You really confident,” he replied flatly. Beatrice just shrugged, she pointed the camera to all corners, collecting memories.
Finished with the Ferris wheel, they continued to visit Bavarian Village to drink glasses of beer and some delicious steak. Strolling around the winter wonderland made Luke’s phone filled with Beatrice’s image all over it. She kept asking him to take her picture whenever they stopped.
“Look at them! I feel like trying! It looks so fun!” said Beatrice pointing to the people who were doing ice skating in the arena.
Luke hasn’t had a chance to answer her request but she was already running away from him, heading to the counter to rent some shoes and helmets.
Minutes later they were already skating around the Ice Skating arena,
“Do you remember what happened the last time you skated around like this?” said Luke, turning her face to Beatrice who blushed in embarrassment.
“Yeah, that’s not gonna happen again! Don’t worry!” she replied lightly.
“Just don’t go too far and stay beside me,” said Luke his voice sounded firm that Beatrice didn’t have a choice but nodded her head.
“Did you see my phone?” asked Luke after thirty minutes of skating around. “No, maybe you left it in the counter!” replied Beatrice, concerned.
Luke breathed out heavily, “Okay, I’ll go there to take my phone, just stay here and don’t go anywhere,” he said firmly.
“Okay!” she showed him her two thumbs.
Following Luke's Instruction, she stood in the corner of the arena, didn’t move anywhere, but everything happened so fast, suddenly someone hit her from behind and all she could remember was she fell hard on the ice. Not only that, but someone also stepped her skating shoes on her palm made her bleed heavily…
“Bea!” shouted Luke from feet away.
