Trapped by My Crush's Dad

Chapter 37: Party Night

Chapter 37: Party Night

Mila's pov

As I mulled this over, I realized I didn't want to leave Mr. Williams' company. The thought of being away from him was awful and the shame my family would feel if they ever learned the truth...

My heart sank at the thought.

"I would love to have a change of pace, but if I don't do what Mr. Williams wants, I'm afraid he'll hold it over my head. What if my parents found out? He's threatened to tell them before."

"Oh, poor Mila, trapped because a father and son are infatuated with you. What a horrible problem to have.”

She huffed and rolled her eyes, then with her chopsticks grabbed a thick piece of sushi and stuffed it in her mouth. As she chewed, I glared at her.

"Don't tease me, Ada," I said, "This is serious. You know how shitty Everett has been and I never have a clue about what Mr. Williams' game is. Don’t add yourself to the group of people I can’t feel good around, okay?”

"Alright," she said through her full mouth then reached to me and gave me a hearty hug. When we parted, she remarked, "I just don't want to see you upset, like you have been so many days since starting this affair. What if it gets so bad that you're forced to leave? What then?"

"To use your words, 'it isn't that simple," I said and smiled at her. She cracked a grin for me and then rose to the kitchen. “I’ll figure it out. Until then, I need my best friend to vent to.”

"Of course,” she said, “But I'm going to check out what Ravishing has to offer just to get a feel for it. If I like it, maybe I can change your mind." She shrugged, pouring more wine for herself and then brought it to me. As she filled my glass, my phone chimed with a notification.

Pulling my cell out, I woke it from screen darkened mode with my fingerprint.

Robert: Hey, I'm sorry I left you like I did. I don't know why but I was called back to the office.

Me: It's okay.

I honestly didn't care that he left. As long as the fake boyfriend plan went smoothly, things would work out fine. Besides, Mr. Williams had me bent over in the dressing room with his cock shoved deep inside my pussy. What else mattered when he was owning me like that?

***

Days passed and I hadn't gotten any word from Mr. Williams. Ever since we argued the night of the fitting room escapade, he hadn't contacted me. Whenever I went to work, he didn’t address me or invade my office. Even when I deliberately got close to Robert so he’d see, he was indifferent.

This was causing me agony that I couldn’t get his attention. That I couldn’t get under his skin like he had mine. Every day I felt sick with an ache in the pit of my stomach. My palms were constantly sweating and there was always the tinge of anxiety about to blow up into a full-on panic attack.

I had to know what was going on. As soon as Everett's issue with me was resolved, I'd talk to Mr. Williams. That was the promise I made to myself. It was the only thing that could bring me back to the present when I was freaking out.

On the day of the party, I suddenly received a package–it was a dress bought by Mr. Williams, along with a handwritten card. Lifting it out, I opened the mini envelope to read it. It surprised me that it came today. Did he know I was taking Robert to Everett's party?

It was a great excuse to send him a message.

Me: Thanks for the dress but we need to have a serious talk. Xoxo.

I waited for hours but he never answered me. Maybe the embellishment of "Xoxo" was a bad idea. Sometimes I didn't think clearly enough but missing him was tainting my judgment. Exhaling in defeat, I did my best to forget about it as I primped. Once I had my dress on, I liked what I saw.

It was a silky dress, jet black in color, that hugged my body accentuating all my curves. It reminded me of the outfit Lily was wearing when she came over to Mr. Williams' house. I hoped that I looked as sexy as her. After applying some mauve lipstick, I added smokey purple eyeshadow with black mascara as a finishing touch. Then I patiently curled my hair, pinning some of it up.

After leaving my house, I grabbed a cab to the party. All the way over, I was staring at my reflection trying to calm myself down. It didn't have to be dramatic tonight, did it? That was a tall order, considering where I was headed.

When I arrived, Robert was waiting for me at the entrance. That was such a relief! As I stepped out, he took my hand and led me toward the door. The broad smile on his face made me relax as I giggled.

"What?" I asked shyly.

"Mila, you look gorgeous."

He leaned in, pretending to kiss me. I wanted to dodge him but then I caught sight of Everett out of the corner of my eye.
